Just purchased a 1986 Bronco xlt 74150 original miles. I attached picture. The gentleman i purchased it from claims that has a package on it from ford called a Continental package. Its almost like an EB it has the digital clock above radio nice reclining capt. chairs. has bumper horns on the front, metal tire carrier with chrome ring, running boards that are labeled Ford, which are currently not on, and a chrome plate around exterior door locks also with ford logo. Any ideas if this was a trim package at that time or an dealer installed options. cant find any info on web. oh the wheels are also stock from ford. bronco.jpg

THIS PACKAGE WAS ALSO USED BY THE SECRET SERVICE TO ****** SENETORS , DIPLOMATS THE PRESIDENT ETC. IN THE WASHINGTON D.C. AREAS AND IN VA. AROUND QUANTICO MARINE BASE.THEY NOW USE SURBURBANS . BECAUSE THE SECRET SERVICE WAS ABLE TO SIT IN THE BACK AND SHOOT OUT THE REAR IF NEEDED THERE WAS ALSO A LOT OF THINGS LIKE BULLET PROOF GLASS IN WHICH YOU MAY HAVE AND STEEL PLATES IN THE DOOR PANELS AND QUATER PANELS .

Are you B.S. ing me. if what you say is true is there any way to find proof of this. And I am asuming that this is an actually package, is it rare does this increase the value of my Bronco.

Yeah, shoot the glass. If it shatters, it's not bulletproof.

you can usually tell bullet proof glass by the color of the tint. it is sort of like the grren type of glass used in the chevys in the late 60;s and70;as for th autentihicity of it being usesd at as a ss truck . i guess is by weighing the bronco =on a truck scale at a truck stop . if it has all the extra steel in it the weight of the truck would be reflected . i would think all the xtra steel would be at least a 1000 lbs more then a standard bronco. but like im saying this is only my hunch
