What 4 speed auto can I use in my beast? Even if it's from a F150 or something else. I am looking for efficiency for the motor so it doesn't work so hard and I can maintain a low RPM. I don't know if a manual will be good for it.

I will be doing minimal to moderate off road very rarely and wanna try and utilize what power that 351W puts out efficiently. In the near future I plan on putting a moderate cam on as well.

Any ideas and help would be great. I am new to the Bronco/Ford side and am starting to love it. Thanks for the help.

I think one factor would be, What do you prefer, Auto or Manual? If the tranny ever went kapoot, which one would be cheaper to rebuild or replace?? Just my .02 cents.

If you have an auto trany now, and want to keep an auto trany, then an AOD is a good option (3 speed with an overdrive).

God luck,
