This will be my first restoration of a vehicle, but the second time I have owned this Bronco. I first owned my bronco around 20 yrs ago and just recently bought it back after I found it sitting for about 4 yrs. Its not in terrible shape but does not run. The carb had been taken off and rebuilt but never reinstalled. So what I am looking for is how to install this card correctly. All I have is a Haynes manual which helps but does not give me the detailed directions I need to make sure the card and all the pieces are put back correctly. So if anyone can direct me to a web site or recommend a manual that helps walk me threw this process I would appreciate the help.

Hi AJ.., welcome..

First., make sure things are clean fr. tank to carb. A good filt. B/4 & after fuel pump. (sitt'n 4 yrs..., that's why)

Then go to libuary...they have many books. You can make copies of pages if needed. Exploded views..., etc.

Unknown what parts you have ..(spacers, etc.) Post some pics.

How long ago was it (carb.) rebuilt & sitting..?

Do fill in your info pages so as to prevent guessing....

Thanks. I will post some pics. I will start with the tank and filters, clean/replace them first and go from there. The carb was rebuilt about 3 yrs ago. It was kept in a box but I don't know if sitting that long will hurt it

For the time being....pull a fuel line & see what the fuel runn'n out looks/smells like. If it's clean & just stinky.... you could drain it (the tank) & add a few gallons of fresh. Then with a couple new filters... you can set the carb. & not worry about it gett'n clogged with crud.

(May want to pull & flush the tank one day.)

Sounds like the carb. will be OK ...you could air-compressor it on low to knock away any surface dust. Then spray-**** it & let it set a bit.

Try to find the plastic see-thru filters... this can give you a clue as to what's moving up thru the lines.

Have fun..!! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
