hey ya all i have a full size 95 bronco . the problem i have is a tear in my rubber hose that goes from the gas cap to the fuel tank . its not a bad tear but like if i put more the 3/4 of a tank or i park on an upgrade fuel drips out of the hose. its nothing more then a radiator hose with clamps on each end . do i have to drop the tank a bit or did anyone get ther hand up there to remove it. also i was wondering if this tear in the hose can effect my fuel mileage. you know like when you get emmissin test and they say ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> you need a new fuel cap

You may have to remove the four (4) screws holding the filler cap compartment in order to get that end free to make changing the hose easier. It's not that hard to get at the tank end from what I recall having done that a couple of years ago.

Sure it can effect your effective mileage, you are pouring it out on the ground and evaporating through the split. It shouldn't have any effect on how much you are burning though.

Good luck,

:)>-
