POOR THROTTLE RESPONSE,SLUGGISH BRONCO.

MY '95 XLT HAS 115K ON IT.I'M RUNNING 35'S WITH 410 GEARS WITH A 302.I HAVE STAINLESS HEADERS,FLOWMASTER,AND K&N INDUCTION KIT.THE TRUCK RUNS GREAT SOMETIMES.GREAT THROTTLE RESPONSE.OTHER TIMES IT SEEMS TO SHIFT TOO QUICK AND STARTS TO BOG AND I REALLY HAVE TO ALMOST FLOOR IT TO GET IT TO DOWNSHIFT.I DO USE THIS TRUCK TO TOW MY BASS BOAT.TRUCK USED TO TOW GREAT NOW NOT SO GREAT.IT MAKES IT A REAL EFFORT TO GO FISHING.IS THERE A SENSOR THAT HAS GONE BAD.THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR OR A SENSOR ON THE TRANNY.THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

i would check the tps( throttle postition sensor) could be faulty sending the wrong signal to the computer also did u correct the speed sensor in the rearend for the change in tire/gear ratios that too could be interfearing :)>- the transmission is electronic and relys fully on those too sensors to shift

Thanks for the input.I had 4-wheel parts install the 410's and auburn gear they never mentioned anything about the speed sensor.how would i go about getting the correct sensor?that sensor is on top of pumpkin right?i saw it yesterday.had to change gear oil.got water in rear this past weekend.also how can i test tps?i would hate to play guessing games.thanks again!!!
