tilt steering column

i'm sure i'm way off but i think to fix slop in the wheel like up and down and side to side i need to pull the steering wheel and the turn signal switch and there will be 3 bolts i can tighten right? or am i in for a mess?

I had the same problem with a Dodge I had. You are on the right track. Tighten those bolts and you should be alright. :D/

looks like a bearing does anyone know how to do this it looks like take a clip out and it should come out then put one back?
