I know where I can get a 78' F-250 for cheap. The only thing is that I only want to get it if there a Dana 60 front diff. If some body could give me some help on the identification of said axle that would be great.

Im not 100 percent but i'm pretty sure the 78/79 f250 front axle is a D44 with heavier knuckles and 8 bolt rotors.

ya you're going to need an f350 for sure if you are looking for a dana 60
