I just bought a rebuilt ZF to swap out the old 3 speed. My question is what the heck is the item circled in red? Do I need it or can I just ***** a plug in to the hole its mounted in? The picture is not my rebuilt tranny but of another I found on the net for reference.
I have an adapter kit on the way from JBG but doubt it has any provisions for this hole.
