i bought an old 86 bronco II xlt 4x4 5 speed manual trans. won't stay running when outside temp warms up. changed a lot of sensors, modules and rebuilt distributor and associated parts. replaced high pressure fuel pump, low pressure high volumn pump checks out ok. removed the brain, eec-iv or eec-vi whichever. went to order new one and was told there were two made for my bonco II. the one i removed is neither of the ones available. it has some markings on the side that make it look like it came from a pick n pull salvage or something. my question is, how can i tell which of the two available is the correct one?
