hope everyone is doing well......im having a problem getting aftermarket clearance lights to work . I mounted 5 overhead SINGLE WIRE lights into my FIBERGLASS overhead visor..... after doing all the wiring the lights still don't work even though the red light is lighting on the switch that came with the lights. so after reading up I found out each light has two mounting screws and each light has a brass washer that one of the mounting screws must go through and this is suppose to act like the ground when lights are being mounted to a metal roof or wherever they are going to be placed on the truck.as long as its metal. im open to all suggestions but what I was wondering is .since the mounting screws came through the bottom of the fiberglass visor can I hook a countinous wire from each mounting ***** with the brass washer and ground it to the frame and would that make the lights come on.....thanks mike
