Here is the story, the person before me decided it would be a good idea to put the fuel line right next to the headers, and well, you can see below. I need to know how to disconnect the fuel line. I've tried several times on the way that I think it comes off. Pictures.
At any parts store they should have the tool to do that. It is a clam looking thing with a section closest to the line that goes into the groove there and releases a spring retainer. Clam in around the line gently/firmly push it towards towards the fuel pressure regulator, it will only go 1/4 inch or so, then while holding it in place pull firmly on the line, the tool will come with the line.
Yes I saw them at autozone the other day. THey have a set of four.. they are four round colored tools. Just tell the counter guy you want to undo fuel lines on your ford.. there are 4 or 5 specialized tools for all the diff connectors they use.
I had to disconnect the same line, I tried and tried for so long, then went out to the parts store and the guy told me I needed a special tool to take the fuel lines apart, it didn't cost much, I thnk I paid like 25 buck or somethin like that,
and it a hole set of diff sizes, you won't be able to pull it off with out a tool trust me,
