Does anyone out there have some input on how well the Gear Banger shifter works for them ? Also any photos on how it secures to the transmission ? My NP 435 seems to work good, stays in gear, does not howl, but does have a slight grind when quick shifting from third to fourth, normal shift works excellent. Is this normal ? Also does have leaks, is it easy to re seal ?

I dont know if it normal, but mine does the same thing sometimes from 3 to 4. Then sometime when I miss 4th gear I have to go back to 2 then 3 to get it into 4. This is on a freshly re-built NP435. I also want some info on the Gear Banger because I am thinking of something like that in the future. Also, what comes witht the kit and do I have to modify the shifter I already have or does it come with a new one.

CHeck out the thread over on Classic Broncos... They are doing a mass buy on the cheaper metal version for $150. The aluminum is $330 or close to if I remember right. Get added to the list, I'm gettin one!
