Big Puddles

i was wondering if anyone here has had problems driving through large puddles. Everytime I drive through a puddle my power steering goes out and I can hardly turn my tires. any remedies like a skid plate under the front or a new pump?

Most of the time its just water on the belts.Check and make sure that they are tight.

just water. you might have gotten a little grease on the new belt which is now on the pulleys.if you want pull the belts and clean the pulleys and belts with some brake cleaner;lightly on the belts, replace and find more mud.now you have a reason to go boggin again

its water ... i bought a can of belt sticky (or whatever its called) at the parts store and its helps.. it dont fix the problem, but the belts regain grip quicker.
