To any of you that have lifted trucks(pretty much everyone on here I guess), anyway, just curious what degree of shims you guys have or are running so I can get an idea for my truck, I'm running 4" suspension. Any ideas on size of shims?

There's differences even in like trucks......The angle at the rear U-joint should be approx. 1-3 deg.

If you can easily see the angle it's too much.

My (EB) rig took "6deg." tapered shims with a 2.5 lift...!

Most need none, or maybe 4deg. at most.

On mine with A 4" lift I used 3 degree shims. I also have bought aluminum blocks and cut the correct degree in the with a chop saw.
