Header Styles

Hey guys,

I once heard that shorty style headers are best for low-end torque and long tube headers are for high rpm horsepower. Have any of you heard this or does anyone have any answers or comments for the question, shorty style or long tube?

Other way around. Long tube for torque with a loss in high end h.p. and short for h.p. and a loss in torque.

Thank you very much for the info, it is greatly appreciated. I just got a pair of long tube headers to go with my new heads. I previuosly had the shorty style headers. Thanks again!!!
