Can anybody give me the actual wiring layout for the Alternator-Solenoid-Voltage Regulator-Coil-Ignition Switch. I have my bronco running, but when I check to see if it is charging, The battery tester show no charging going on. This is a brand new regulator and alternator. I know it must be something basic, but I have never had to wire one from scratch before and this is cutting my behind. I found the actual wiring schematics, but I am not an engineer. I need something closer to regular talk. Thanks guys.

Here is a copy of the drawing of the charging and instrument panel - it's more of a pictural than a schematic - hopefully it's different than the one you have and it will help out. I had to put it in two pictures since the whole thing would not fit on my scanner. The two pages are broken at the firewall connectors, C & D, so you can hopefully join them together at that point.

How are you checking for charge? with a volt meter? Yopu should be getting atleast 13.5 at the battery terminals when the engine is running if the alternator is puting out. Check all connections including the battery ground connections. If the ground is bad, no charge. or as the old Chineese Proverb says, "No tickie, no washie".
