I have never seen a T-case split up 2H and 4H with neutral

not sure of the t- case because i was supposed to have a 205, but i couldn't find a tranny with a long enough output shaft or a short enough adapter. i don't really like my shift pattern. but i do have a gear reduction in this one though.

all i know is that if i unlock the hubs and push the shifter all the way to the dash i cant turn the front drive shaft by hand and if i pull it one click back its nuetral but i've been running with the shifter all the way towards the dash it tops out at like 40mph and i think it should go faster than that it has 40's on it

mine is like the others.

dash back 4L-N-2H-4H.

dozer,

if you top out at 40mph with 40's your in 4L unless ya got some steep gears.

pull your shift all the way back to the seat, should be 4H. then bump shifter a click forward should put ya in 2H if ya have the NP205 case

I have a 79 like everyone elses

from the dash back 4L-N-2H-4H.

and then my 78 which will shortly be swapped out to be the same as the 79

locked 4L-4L-N-4H-Locked 4H. the steering is just stupid with the 35in boggers

and front wheel drive.
