Hello. So I got a manual t case and when I pull it for 4hi the low range light comes on and in 4lo the 4x4 and low range lights come on. For some reason it's backwards. Any ideas to fix this?

Yo Ryan,

Welcome!

What year do you have?

I will assume its a 91 with Borg Warner 1356 for now.

1356 Manual Shift Wiring Diagram

If you just acquired the Bronco, its possible that someone or road/trail debris cut the indicator light switch wires (2) and were spliced together backwards. Check the wires near the connector.

Or indicator light wires were reversed. The switch connector could be forced in backwards, but doubt it.

Check those wires as well.

I will post this fir now, because I have lost all this narrative once so far.

Thanks for the info. Looking at the diagrams, the 4x4 switch is tied into the abs. I think the issue must be my abs, I have to replace the controller this weekend
