There is a giant hole in the dash of my 1985 Bronco,, I was wondering if anyone has fitted a navigation/tv unit is theirs? My thoughts are to look for a used after market unit that I could install. It might have a back up camera as part of the features. What are yours experiences?

All I have seen for mid-80's Broncos from other Owners is this;

CD/DVD/MP3 In-Dash & Review in an 84

Source: by Steve H at http://web.archive.org/web/20091212050915/http://the-gadgeteer.com/2003/07/24/foryou_dv_200_in_dash_car_dvd_av_stereo_review

EXCERPT:

"...I had to do a lot of fabricating to the radio trim

panel in order to get the DV-200 to fit in my dash. I used a Jig Saw to enlarge

the opening in the trim panel and also had to trim some plastic on the backside

of the panel with wire cutters. The Scosche Stereo Installation Kit also needed

some cutting as well before it could be installed in the dash..."

Welcome Jgrden ! Congrats for your project' choise . Its just my point of wiew but.. any "oldtimer" truck/car deserves his original dash with his OEM car stereo (when possible)...if we really wunt the best for "her" . So my personal tip is to leave your NAVY..on your SMARTPHONE (i dont think we were LOST in the '85 without it...lol) ,  Enjoy your Bronco n have fun ! :)>-

Okay, I can buy that idea and like it. I know how to find the retro radios but now need to bezel cluster. Guess the Bronco graveyard is the best bet. Thank you for your comment.  :)>-
