So my 86' bronco is sitting comepletely stock right now. My plan is to put a 2" leveling kit on it with 33x12.5x15. I had this on my last bronco and loved it.

I bought the rims already off Craigslist, they came with 31's on them which I will be selling and I have a LOT of polishing to do! I also ordered the 2" blocks and they should be here soon. I still need to get new shocks and the camber/caster sleeves. Now when I did it on my other bronco I went ghetto and welded on bolts to the tops of the shocks to lengthen them rather than replacing them, and surprisingly they never broke. Has anybody ever done this and kept the original shocks?

Here is the truck as it sits now

Here are the rims, dirty I know

I put them on the truck for a test got to make sure they didn't rub anything and they cleared nicely

So I will be updating this thread as I go along, next step is 20 hours of polishing lol

I just did the exact same thing on mine, its being aligned right now. Firestone is doing a lifetime alignment with camber sleeves for 250 out the door. seems like a pretty good deal.

I'm a tech so all I have to do is buy the sleeves and I can align it at my shop. I wouldn't be able to afford having somebody else working on it lol

Been a while, but I sold those rims because I just didn't like them. I picked up a set of tires off Craigslist, some Maxxis Big Horns, 33x12.5x15. I ended up using the stock rims and they actually fit pretty nicely. Put the leveling kit on as well, I still need to get new shocks though.

Hi j-rod, your bronco looks nice on 33”s . Did your front 33 12.5 15 tyres rubbed in the arms with the stock rims? is your bronco lifted in the last photo?
Cheers
