OK I've asked this awhile back on here. I have a 79 Bronco. Runs great. The problem happens when ever it gets hot. Not overheated hot. I took my boat out on Sunday, and when I parked the truck after I turn the truck off, I try to restart it. This time it wouldn't start. The engine turns, just won't turn over. I've changed all the electrical components at least twice. Soon as the truck cools off, it starts right up. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help.

That is symptomatic of a pickup coil inside the distributor failing. It is a common with a Duraspark 2 system. You will need to pull the cap, rotor and reluctor in order to change the pickup coil. Be careful when pulling the reluctor, not to loose the small roll pin that keeps it from spinning on the shaft.

Good Luck,
