Hmmm it could be the fuel pump, now the relay you replaced on the fender well was it new or what? Because I know a few people who have gotten bad ones two and three times.

Hey Micharel, Welcome.

Some questions for ya: How do you know the engine is getting spark?

Where are you seeing the bubbles you're describing?

Have you checked for any CEL codes?

Does the CEL come on when you turn the key to the "run" position?

Let us know and we can better help you out.

Hey Michael

CEL= Check engine light.

If you don't have a light come on when the key is in the run position, you may have a blown fuse to the ECU, (computer) and there is no signal for the injectors to open. You can have fuel preasure but if they don't open the truck won't run.

If the fuse is blown then there will not be any light to indicate a code as well.

If you hear the fuel pump running I cannot say the pump is bad. I believe there is some other issue.

Do you have a working CEL ?

If not check your fuses.

Ok Michael,

Good thing on the CEL. You can also check for an electric pulse at an injector. Pull a wire connector of carefully and use a test light between the 2 leads. Have someone crank the engine for about 7-8 seconds. The light should flash.

If no flash you are not getting power to the injectors.

Good Luck

Hey Michael,

To be clear, the engine cranks, ( the starter is turning the engine over) correct?

Do you have a good strong spark when the engine is cranking? (if it is cranking)

Have you pulled a plug out and looked to see if they are wet?

Do they smell of gas?

Your plugs may be wet fouled.

get me the answers to the above questions first.

If you have fuel and spark and air the engine should at least try to start.

You may have some bad gas or alot of water in the fuel.

Was the truck sitting for awhile?

Good Luck
