LOOKING FOR SOME HELP ON DOING A SWAP FROM A 302 TO 351 CLEVELAND I HAVE A AOD TRANSMISSION .AND LOOKING FOR SOME HEADERS THAT MIGHT WORK PLZ AND THX.

Is it a 351C or 351W? If it is a 351W it is pretty much a direct drop in. If it is a Cleveland the mounts would have to be changed and a 302 transmission bell housing will not match up to a 351C.

i have a AOD from a 302 and it all matches my cleveland block it should bolt up but not sure if flex plate will match.

seabronc you are thinking of the 351M which uses the bigblock pattern, the 351C uses small block bolt pattern so the aod will fit,

Slick as for the flex plate its just a matter of matching it up to the torque converter that's being used. provided the 351C had an auto trans on it before.

thanks krafty still trying to locate some headers that will fit my bronco also i seem to cant find to many 351 cl in broncos and i have the 2v heads wich r a little smaller than the 4v heads.but i cant wait to get er running .iam building a stant so i can run it before i install it. and also i have a great running 302 with 65,000 miles thats for sale. i might list it on here . can here run.

Most broncos only came with 300, 302 or 351W, the 351W being the closest similarity in block and transferable parts from the 302, the 351W is the more popular out of the 3 351 blocks.
