I am restoring a 1971 Bronco, I have a 1969 half cab in the wings, (next restore) and recently purchased an 84 bronco ll to use as a street car. I am constantly searching for the best place to by parts. I thought by signing up with this forum, I could connect with others that either have parts or have access to the best buys. I have purchased from Toms Bronco, and find the shipping costs excessive. I have purchased most of the engine rebuild parts from Summit racing and so far very satisfied with prices and customer service. I am currently looking for seats, fender flares, dash, carpet, and seat belts for the 71. And when I start the 69, it is a rust bucket so I will need a lot. Any ideas, help or suggestions will be appreciated.
Also could use help loading pictures into this posting?

Welcome to the zone!

I've had good luck with Nationalpartsdepot,LMCtruck, Broncograveyard, and Autokrafters. I, too, have bought most of my engine rebuild parts through Summit and have been satisfied with them.

Hi PBR.., welcome...

"....and find the shipping costs excessive."

Freight is what it is....these EB stores don't set the rates.

Buying someones used seats....you'll pay the same rate.

$$ being an issue.., why not re-build your seats..? Cheap-n-easy.

Same for carpet... easy to make.

As for used parts.., they're out there (EB stores & private party) but "parts is parts" be patient.

"Any ideas, help or suggestions will be appreciated."

One would be.., fill-in your signature page (see mine below) for accurate future help. (helps us help you)

Have fun...! Two good projects. :D/

BTW "used flares" may be quite rare.... especially usable.

What do you mean by "dash".., the whole sheetmetal panel or the components?

I'm guessing you don't mean "RESTORATION" as in "return to completely stock".

Soooo., new seatbelts can be found most anywhere. JBG may sell used..., Toms may as well.

Recommend the lap-n-sholder 3-point even with the higher price.

At the bottom of your (next new) post... it says 'Attachments'

Click on "BROWSE" .... this allows you to look thru your files/pics, etc.

On an old post... click "EDIT" first.
