Should my 88 Eddie Bauer have a extra plugs for the trailer lights since it came with a hitch,the 87 f150 I had years ago that had the towing package did have extra plus for lights and trailer brakes. I removed two trailer light connectors plus wires run up to the brake light switch so who knows what previous owners had done.

yo,

It may have had it if equipped w/Optional (on All trim levels) Trailer Towing Package; but many have been hacked by prev owners or "mechanics" when things went south;

In your 88, Trailer Towing Package consisted of;

wiring harness, HD batty, super eng cooling, aux tranny cooler, HD flasher, handling package

see Option list that shows this info here (I believe I gave you the entire 88 Brochure Links in another thread a few months ago)

I looked today and found 3 wires togather that probably had a connector but no power from any,my 87 F150 had two extra connectors so I will look again for another to see if its shoved out of sight. I might just buy one of those wiring kits that plugs into the harness if I cant find any more wires.

Thanks for the info! After doing some more looking under things I found my pigtail for the trailer brake, and my relays under the hood are good to go so I'm thinking I'll pay the Big $$$ and get the factory wiring for the 7pin plug.

Any tips for finding a plug for the trailer brake wires on the floor by the Brake?

I did, they can't.

I will be buying some wire to extend the existing wiring and attach that to a 7pin connector. That will allow me to use as much of the factory wiring as possible.

thanks for the Help!
