it is great esp. when you need to secure valuables..(let them take the entire Bronco, bec. they'll have trouble getting in this console).
Powdercoating has lasted extremely well despite abuse.

I also have a Graybar type hinged steel electr. uttity box that is ~ 12"x12" x 4" high in front of the console for other things incl change tapes, disksetc.; it has a piano hinge as well and a key lock
