Is it a bad idea to take the top off of my '95 Bronco? I've been told that once you take it off it never goes back on the same, is this true?

I say take it off. Once u do anything it is not as good as factory seal but it is ur bronco u do what u want. Just be sure to be careful taking it off don't try to flex it too much. If u are careful there should not be any real problem.

you need to look at why your top is off, and weather and storage and such, the soft tops are only good for keeping rain off the rear seats when parked and wind noise if you have sensitive passengers in the rear.

a soft top will not protect anything in a collision, they will not protect you from theft and permanent modifications have to be done in order to mount and remove the soft top quickly.

in my 81 I removed the rear seats and did a rhino liner for my interior, I did find that if I left the top off for longer than a month or two then the cap would begin to flex out at the bottom which made putting it back on a bit of a challenge.

As broncos they are designed from the factory to be able to remove and re-install, that was the entire selling point for ford back in the day.

i had my cap off at least 8 times a year for a week to months at a time, even when the cap started to flex, as long as I could get the bolts in it would ALWAYS seal up again and never leaked.

if you drive in the rain with the top off, the front doesn't get wet. if you park in the rain as long as its not raining sideways the front will not get wet.

man I miss my bronco.
