Recently my parking lights/tail lights have spiradically been coming on and staying on. I removed the fuse and it solved the problem. Bad thing is driving at night/early morning i have no tails unless i put the fuse back in. Could this be as simple as getting a new fuse or could it possibly be faulty wiring? Any help would be appreciated.

yo,

ez cks first

Check lamp sockets for Corrosion/bad wiring, etc.

Do you have a 12v test light or meter to ck for power on both side of fuse; at tail & park lights?

Do what Ford describes as a wiggle test; while cking for power; tap bulbs too; tap directional switch

Next check grounds;

I do not have a good wiring diagram; maybe someone else here can post it up for you; esp for directional switch - entire ckt.
