Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't see anything connected to it, rather some sort of dry rotted black tube/cable that is cut.

yo laborrega,

Sure appears to be the Under Hood Reel Light

But, It probably has Mercury in it;

Under-Hood, Mercury Removal Guide, Bronco, Ford, 70-95, etc.

Source: by wa.gov/pubs http://www.ecy.wa.gov/pubs/0504024.pdf

excerpts;

"According to industry representatives, any vehicle equipped with a convenience

light in the hood and/or trunk is likely to have mercury switches if it is a:

1. 2002 or older model made by Ford or General Motors; or

2. 1998 or older model made by Chrysler..."

But they forgot to list our Broncos, but did show Bronco II and F Series

Also included are da Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) on some 4-wheel drive vehicles contain mercury switches. The switches are in a G-Force sensor that detects deceleration and takes the vehicle out of 4-wheel drive during slipping. Broncos from 92-96

The item I am referring to is behind the blower. I tried putting a red box around it. It's not on the hood, but rather in the engine bay right behind the blower. I'll try to get a better picture.

Thanks Miesk5

Thanks guys ... i'll have to figure out how to get it to work.

Right now none of the AC system works. Nothing happens when I turn the AC on. Not even the blower.

thanks!

I tried all the functions heat, vent, AC no luck.

Weird thing is everything else works, even the cruise control.

The only other thing that appears not to be working is the 12V adapter/lighter.

All the fuses under the dash seem to be OK, I checked them visually 1 by 1.

Thank you for the diagram. I'll dig further and let you know the outcome.
