ok, so i have a 95 bronco with a 302 with about 20096 miles on it. it will idle just fine but when you start to take off it lugs and the trany shifts hard. when you reach about 25 or 30 mph it lugs and sputters. when i get on the gas i feel a hard knock in the rear end. which is an 8.8. and when the truck get on the highway it gets hot and runs really hot after 25 min. i just had a new junction box and a new computer put in. and today i was coming back from the store i was backing up and it died and everything shut down and i smelled burning wires. now nothing works at all. HELP

yo Ire,

WELCOME TO DA ZONE!

I hope you have a warranty on the new junction box and new computer work. Did you talk to the owner of the shop yet? (hopefully it was done by a shop) Is the junction box the Power Distribution Box under hood; driver side, next to air filter box?

If not, be calm, tell them exactly what you wrote here and don't touch anything. Any yelling or naughty words on your part often gives the slick/sly ones the moral high ground to iggie you.

There is a method to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes posted here by our pal Broncojoe19, but since you have some hot stuff going on there I wouldn't do it because the shop may blame it all on the testing or improper testing.

Take pics of any burnt wiring or components along with your receipt.

Post up again here w/what is happening w/ da shop.

GL!

Hi, did not want to create a thread for my query and I think this is an appropriate thread. Here goes: my cousin owns a Ford Bronco 1982 model and which he rarely uses. I noticed that his Signal lights' lenses are dimmed and close to worn out. So I am looking at this after market Turn Signal Lens by Replacement featured on this site. Here's the image and catalog description:

What do you think? Is the said replacement Lenses really applicable all these listed above Ford Bronco models? Will buy them for my cousin as a holiday gift since he does not notice the condition of his lenses.

Thanks in advance.
