First Hello all just joined forum.

I am trying to replace distributor on this unit

The new dist. i bought has a coil mounted on it with 2 places for wires, the old setup has a separate coil with 2 places for wires.

Do i just take the wires from the coil to the new dist. ?

What do i do with the wires that go to the ECM (electronic control mod)?

tks in advance for any help

With the new HEI dizzy, all you need is one wire feeding it 12v, so you can get rid of all the stock junk for the old dizzy. That includes the separate coil, ignition module and realted items. There is also a wire or terminal for a tach, but I don't think the factory one will work if you have it. I installed an HEI dizzy on my 460 that I swapped into the 84 Bronco. IF you have any more questions, I'll try to answer. Welcome to Bronco Zone, JSM84
