When I bought my ride there were no wipers at all. I ordered a set of electric wipers to install they did not come with any instructions, or mounting hardware.I have called and e-mailed the co. that I bought from with no responce. If anyone has some pics of how the wipers are to bolt in please send some pics, I have the switch already in I just need to see how the wipers bolt to the windshield.

thanks

Mud

Give us a clue what brand or where purchased....

If they're not EB specific....maybe return them if poss. & check out TOM'S BR PARTS.. they have a slick aft. mkt. unit with cover & all. B)

Hmmmmm., '66-'68 came with vac.

'69-'77 came with elect.

Soooooo., did someone change your W/S or maybe swap in vac. wipers.?

Elect. had/was 20" between wiper post holes. If the holes are 24" apart...I doubt it will work.

There is a metal bracket that mounts to top of W/S frame....motor mounts to it.

All the EB stores have the mounts if they didn't give it to you.

Sorry., I have "boat" elect. in mine so a pic fr. me won't help.

---- maybe someone with a pic. of elect. set-up will chime in ---

Side note.... watch out....those elect. crank bars can pinch a finger., if not WORSE..!! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Can you reverse engineer it by matching up wiper shaft with wiper shaft holes in the cowl?

Is this what you bought? http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/BroncoConnection/catalog/DSC02704.JPG

and here is an original electric motor for sale by the same folks http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/BroncoConnection/catalog/DSC02699.JPG

If you need a wiper motor mount let me know....I just took mine off and swapped it with a lower mount bracket for my soft top.

You can have mine if you need it...It shouldn't cost too much to ship it I'll even pay as long as it goes to a good home.

How to remove windshield wipers and replace. If you want to do yourself, simply remove the plastic cover and nut, then exit. The spring will not come out of the wiper arm.
