windshield washer nozzles

Hi all.

Can some one tell me how to remove the windshield washer nozzle? I have an 85 full size bronco. The nozzle assembly is mounted in the center of the cowl. Mine is cloged at the nozzles. I tried inserting a needle in each of the nozzles but that didn't unclog them, so I figure the clog is behind the nozzles. I know the hose is not cloged because flow is good with hose disconnected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"The squirter pushes up fairly easy out of the cowl. If not then pinch the tangs from below with needle nose pliers as you pry from the top with a blade screwdriver.

Up here sometimes you have to simply just pour a little blue stuff on top of the squirter to un-freeze it, though yours does sound clogged from the hoses."

in an 86 by Sixlitre!!!!!

Six meant to use a small amount of rust pentrator like PB Blaster, etc. to help loosen the nozzle

I will aggree with miesk on this one. I have an 83 and have had to remove mine for the same reason. The y come off but I wouldn't say pretty easily.
