Haven't done this project, but thought about it when I installed tow points on my 93. As you know the 92-96 Broncs have no access for tow hooks. I took off the bumper and removed the bumper stiffeners (the black plates bolted on the back side of the bumper). I then bolted 2" bar stock to the outside of the frame-rails and drilled a hole in the bar stock big enough to accomodate a clevice. I used a dremel to cut holes in the bumper big enough for the bar stock to slide through.

While doing this I was considering how to build a cradle between the frame rails to mount the winch into. You could then cut a hole in the bumper to allow the winch cable through as you see on the bronco in the picture in your link. Obviously, you would need measurements off the winch you were going to use so as to make the mount fit the winch. Honestly, with some planning and strong enough materials, it shouldn't be much of a project.

I know Mark did his with out any special tools, and no welder. his set up is real clean. I am likely going to try and copy it this winter. I have an advantage in that he move to with in a couple of miles of my house this year, so I can go to the horses mouth. Most of the cutting can be done with a grinder.
