will the suspension from a 1983 4wd bronco work on a 1990 4wd bronco

im looking at buyin a 1983 bronco for cheap so i can take the suspension and window motors for my 1990 bronco..please let me know if this is possiable

Sure, there's only a few minor differences. . .Are you swapping the axles, too, or just the springs? The 90 uses a speed sensor (VSS) in the rear axle, and has rear anti-lock brakes. IT would be easy to swap the front TTB axle, but keep the rear 8.8" from the 90. The 83 may have an 8.8" or a 9", neither will have the VSS.

i wasnt sure what to do....i wasn't planning on swaping the rear axles....just the springs...your advice is greatly appracited..what should i do?

Why do you want to swap the springs? is the 83 lifted or something, you havent stated the benefit of it. If your truck needs them then yes swap, if its just because your bored, well then thats up to you

the 83 has a 6in lift and 35 inch superwampers my 90 is stock, i figure ill save alot of money bye doing this....so it will work?

If you want to swap the lift kit out of the 83 onto the 90, then it will work out fine.
