What gives? Though there is still a little play in the rear when it shifts,its no where near as bad as it was.Now

engine is running fine.Should I attempt to drive this beast to Phoenix from Detroit,Im afraid if I use rear axle from junk yard I might still have loose rearend?But I dont want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. <)

Not likely...

What's your time frame...? The boneyards guarantee what they sell to be good used parts.

If you're not happy with it....they will give you another.

The bug-a-boo is you have to do all the labor.

I found one close by for 200.00 they pull it.I may have spoke to soon after I pulled wire coupler

and disconnected EGR valve from engine,I test drove down streets and then highway it seemed to drive pretty good.But about a half hour later I drove it seemed to start idleing funny again and **** and hesitation

Do think its the catalytic convertor?Ive been think n about pulling it,and running a sraight pipe to muffler.There is no emmissions test in Detroit area right now.Do you think it would help?
