Good Day, folks of Broncozone,

I am 47 years old and ever since I can remember, I have wanted an early bronco. I feel I am finally ready to purchase one. For years, I have also been a reader of Petersons 4wheel and Offroad magazine. Thru the stories and build-ups that I have read about, I was leaning towards either a 73 or 76 for various reasons.Which years do ya'll prefer and why? I live in Louisiana so lack of a/c is not an option. Can that be added to any rig?. I plan to use the vehicle for light 4 wheeling but mostly for hunting. Some of our roads get pretty sloppy. I also travel out of state to hunt so I wanted something that can handle long highway drives to far-away destinations.

I would have to say the '76-'77 because of the options like power steering, front disc brakes, and many came with power brakes, and big bearing 9 inch axle.

Hi there Whitewater... welcome..,

Ah yes.., Looooozana.... Spent some time there at Ft. Polk...(red dirt.!)

It don't matter what yr..., they're all great..! I've had 6 EB's, look at my signature below to see which one I kept.

You can add anything you want.., or not.... A/C can be added.

Gearing & tire size would need looking into for lots of long dist. use.

---Have fun ---
