which tranny would be best

Just got a 88 bronco 5.0 with a c6 tranny. The truck is basically going to be work truck, pushing snow, pulling trailers, and driving all over the place. I am thinking about a 4 speed tranny, but I want a good strong tranny.

so what do you guys suggest?

a E4od, or a aod

AOD....IMO e4od = junk.....i have an AOD in my truck with a shift kit and i have no complaints at all i love it.

So what you are saying is both trannys are good if the proper upgrades are made.

I am a bit in the dark with the full size truck, used to the RBV's. Thanks for the help!! Any more ideas would be great!!
