when i am mud diggin my power steering goes out

when i am going threw some mud and tac it up really high my power sterring goes out ? does this happen to everybody and if so how do i go about makin it stop .. so i can have it the whole time i am diggin... it only happend when i tac it up and stays that way until i tac it up again then it kinda unbinds itself ??? kinda wierd .. does ne one else get this while mudding?

Well back when I drove that other brand of product (Bow tie baby) I would have that problem! It was a weak power sterring pump. When I was at real high RPM's it was like I couldnt steer at all and it got real tough. At the time someone told me it was a combo of the tires being deep in the mud and haveing the resistance of that and low pump pressure. Once I was out of the mud and back to normal driving all would be fine. When I changed out my pump all is fine. Hope this gives you some kind of help.
