in the middle of installing a lift in the bronco. it came with extended radius arms and I was wondering if someone else has an 80-86 they could check the hub to hub measurements. I've got about 109" hub center to hub center on the side I haven't taken apart yet and I've been reading it should b 105 ish

There will probably be some minor differences from vehicle to vehicle, but yes, as long as it is close and you keep both the same you should be OK. I'd go out and measure mine, but it is cold out there. 104 - 105 is about right. The specification for 80 - 86 is 104. It could be that someone before you may have done something to change the measurement slightly.

Good luck,

yo,

Let's try to verify that this 92 Bronco Frame Dimensions Diagram is = to toher years LESS the Front Crumple Zone.

by Ford via Steve83

it is in MM

See the Hot Link for other frame info including Frame Service - Drilling / Welding, etc. Precautions

Wondering if the extended radius arm install by a previous owner or shop was done.... kinda off, thus moving the wheels <_______> ??

maybe it's a mini bronco centerion :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I know the wheels were dead center in the wheel wells and no trimming was ever done to the fenders either. the truck had a stock suspension before I started lifting it and had all the rivets and everything. as long as I keep the wheels centered in the wheel wells and have = measurements on both sides I should be okay , correct ??? it's an 86 also, but I'm sure it dosent matter unless it was a 66-77 ---- and in my original post I meant that the KIT I bought came with the extended radius arms, sorry about the confusion

re; "keep the wheels centered in the wheel wells and have = measurements on both sides I should be okay"

Yep.. take measurements w/tires @ same PSI...

same for frame to be sure it wasn't hit in a prev owner mishap.
