Whats the difference?

I am looking to lift my bronco but am on tight budget and not sure what lift kit i would like. I have heard a few ups and downs between different lifts but is one really better than the other? I have heard rough country lifts are bad and after a few years start to sag. whats the difference between rough country and sky jacker. is skyjacker really better than rough country?

Also i was wondering if any of you have put a six inch lift on before. What did you put on and how does it run/ or what 6inch do you recomend.

BA, the best advice i can give is to ask alot of folks with lifted rides how they like or dislike the brand and amount of kit, and to shop around for a good deal. There's many different kits even by the same company, depending on what parts are included and optional items. I've installed on my own rigs and helped out on several others both 4' and 6' kits from Skyjacker, Rough Country, Pro Comp, Superlift and Rancho. I have a personal prefernce toward Skyjacker, both for the beefiness of their parts, durability ride qualityt and customer support. IF you're looking at getting a 6' suspension lift on your Bronco, i would strongly advise going with extended radius arms. The SkyJ Class II kit includes those, with the option of lifted rear spring packs. Cuurent pricing is around $1700-$1800 for that kit, vs a basic 6" kit for around $550-$650. For folks on a tight budgete, I suggest the Rough Country 4" kit that sells for $450-$500. Only real problem I've had with those is mis-alignment of a few holes on the axle beam drop brackets. JSM84
