I HAVE A 83 BRONCO AND IT WILL NOT START FROM THE IGNITION I HAVE REPLACED THE STARTER, IGNITION LOCK AND KEY, SELONOID, BATTERY CABLES, VOLTAGE REGULATOR, STARTER SWITCH AND CONNECTOR, NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH AND ADJUSTED IT. I DONT KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO AND WOULD LIKE SOME ADVICE IF POSSIBLE. P.S. I CAN ONLY START IT BY JUMPING IT OFF FROM THE SELONOID.

From what you wrote, I assume that it will run once you jumper the stat solinoid, correct? Did you check for 12V at the red with blue stripe wire on the start solinoid?

Diagram attached

Good luck,

:)>-

If you determine that it is not electrical, check out the ignition actuator in the top of the steering column. It's a small piece of cheap aluminum that slides back and forth as you turn your key. it is possible that it is broken, but so wedged in there that you can still get it to "run" but not to "start".

P.S. It's a huge pain in the ass, but at least you are sitting down while you are working on it and not spread out underneath the truck.
