Well i have a set of Warn manual locking hubs that i bought a while back and i just opened them and i dont have any instructions.

So if any one knows how to do this... all i need is a simple set of instructions.... it looks pretty simple...

oh and what tools do i need? i know i need that hub socket... but which one...

any help would be great...

you should be able to walk into any auto parts store and ask for a ford hub socket.

oh edit: not sure on the climate where you live fire, but i would look into synthentic grease if you're gonna repack the bearings while you have it all apart. it the colder weather the synthentic sure makes a difference with how much easier they are to turn

I bought the manual hub kit from bronco graveyard and they included the kit with the spindle nut conversion. They said I needed it. So I got it. And thanks for the instructions. I'll print those up asap.

yeah i had one hub socket... but i have no idea where it went.. haha... and i always try to use synthetic for everything... thanks for the tip.. ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Since you have the new spindle nuts, you can take one with you to make sure you get the right socket. But be aware that the spindle nuts that are in there now are different, (or at least they were when I converted mine). I was able to get the old ones out without a socket using a hammer and screwdriver to get them out. Didn't make sense to buy a socket for the old ones since it would be a "one time" use.
