I have a '95 Bronco and the whole engine vibrates at idle. The vibration gets faster and less intense under power, and then increases as I slow down or brake. It is not a misfire, it almost seems like the engine is out of balance. Has anyone had a harmonic balancer go bad? or any other suggestions would be helpful. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, o2 sensor, have all been changed, there is no apparent vacuum leaks.

Thanks.

Did you time it as a 5.0 or a 5.8 ? A 95 should be timed like a 5.8 and if it is timed like a 5.0 it will run but shake as you describe . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

BLADE262US is correct on the timing...but also have you checked the rubber insulator on your balancer...they do have a tendancey to dry rot and let the counterweight slide forward or backwards throwing everything off....on that note it could also be a warpped or maybe lose flywheel...i know i'm just full of good thoughts...but there are quite few things it could be....hope this helps or atleast gives you a starting point....
