how do you get a rusted uni. u-joint out i have got the thing drenched in PB blaster and i got the actuall uni.joint out i just need to get the u-bolt out. thanks for all the help (P.S i have ben trying to get the thing out for 2 days and i am out of iders) :excl: :excl:

You have to use a combination of a prybar and the biggest hammer you can work with under there. Wiggle the prybar between the u-joint and yoke, after a bit it should move slightly. Hammer it back into place and redo the prybar technique. Then pound in and etc,etc,etc. And smile lots, it will help. :)) LOL

i tryed what yardape said but did not work and i have already tryed to hit it with a hammer no luck

It takes alot of patience, I have experienced this exact problem quite a few times. Your only other option would be cut them off with a small cutoff wheel on a die grinder or something. Or squeeze a hacksaw up there. I managed to get a sawzall in there. Leave about 1/4 inch of the bolt hanging out so you can hit it with a hammer. (cut the u-bolt side) Then remove the driveshaft and start pounding. But dont get crazy and damage the T-case or the yoke.
