Big hammer and socket, Soak ut down with penetrating oil, find a socket that the u-joint cap will fit into, put that one on the groundfind one the same size as the cap, or a tiny bit smaller. Put that one one top of the cap and pound on it with your hammer.

The driveshaft is secured to the transfer case yoke with u-BOLTS. There is a nut on each end of the u-bolt. Undo the nuts, and release the u-bolts to remvoe the driveshaft with u-joints. If you can't see this, clean everything off, as it's probably covered with gunk.

I think I have an idea what hes talking about. I stripped a '95 F-150 4x4, And the u-joint ubolts were seized in the holes of the yoke up by the transfercase. Thats the only thing I can think of that he could talking about. In that case, soak the crap out of it with WD-40 and try and tap them in with a hammer, the put a prybar between the u-joint and the yoke and try and pry it out square. Will take some elbow grease but is possible. If it only comes out a little ways, tap it in and pry out again, Might take a few times but will work. watch your eyes because alot of rust powder will come out with it. Before you re-install take a drill bit close to the same size as the hole and work it in and out to remove all rust and dirt. (do this by hand)
