I put in a new ignition lock in my 1984 Bronco and now my signals don't work. I have checked the fuse and flasher and they are fine. The hazard flasher works fine.

Is it possiable something did not line up when I put the lock in? It does have a tilt and I think it was in the down postion when the switch went in. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem but just trying to think of everything that could have happened. Thanks

i would check for a lose connection in the colum ? since you were messing with it you could have pulled or even cut the wires going to the turn switch. or I had the headlight switch/ connector come lose cauing lighting issues.... hope this helps

It is possible that you shorted a line when you were in there working on the switch. A diagram is attached. Check out the fuse and flasher, but more likely the fuse (fuse 5) or a connection. All connections go through the connector located on the steering column under the dash.

Good luck,

:)>-

hello! I don't know if you still are a part of this forum but I have a question to your response cause we're having the same problem too and I love the fact that you put up a wiring diagram I presume but we're newbies with our 84 bronco II and unfortunately, we don't know how to read it exactly. Sorry! If you can explain it, please do! We would really love the help! Thank you!
