I'm getting ready to rebuild my 1st Bronco (70) and looking through the older diagrams I'm having trouble cross referencing parts. For instance, a body bolt labeled 55615-S on the diagram but when I go to AutoKrafters they mark it AV9756. What is the quickiest way to find the parts for the early Broncos?

Thanks in advance

When you say body bolts, are you talking bolts to reassemble the body,or the body mounting bolts,as in body to frame. For the in general;body bolts, you can order a whole set of stainless bolts from Wild Horses and a few others are selling. For body to frame mounts, anybody has a set, stock, one inch, two or three inch "body lift",and that comes with every thing, bolts, nuts, washers, and urethane mounts etc.You dont want to reuse old crap,at least I wont.

I was in need of body bolts for reassembling the body. I'm getting ready to move it so I can pull the engine and the body off the frame. So I just made a quick trip to NAPA to grab some, but I when its ready I will go ahead and get a set of stainless.

Any advice for getting the frame cleaned up? I'm not looking to create a show car just something to cruise town in. I would like to have someone professionally clean up the frame. The frame is in pretty good shape. I don't think it needs to be straightened. When I get estimates to clean up the frame what type of general work should I request to be done and how much should I expect to pay (just some type of ballpark figure)?

I did mine by using a wire wheel for a couple days. I then POR15'ed it and used the Chassis Black to top coat it. We used a air gun to spray it on and it looks "professional" and saved a bunch of money. I am taking the body off and having it done by the pro's though

Any reason to use a wire wheel instead of sandblasting? How much POR15 did you need to get the job done?

Thanks!

When I did mine, there was no such thing as Por-15.It is great stuff.I used a sand blaster, and it came out great that I went to an air grinder with a wire wheel.I used Farm Implement paint, and it doesn't look half as good ,as the Por-15 jobs I've seen.
