hello everyone i have a new problem with my 1990 fullsize bronc.here wher the story begins,i bought her with a locked up motor but got her cheap and love her.

dropped in a 302 roller cam motor out of a thunder chickin, then the trany went bad it had a ton of miles on it so i expected it to go.the put new rough country shocks broke the shock mount so on and so fourth.the day i put new 31 on her a ticking noise started from drive train it. i found a bad u joint and replaced it. it still has the noise.now talking to all my gear head friends i get different answers.one tells me its the trans and another teels me its the transfere casethe clicking sound sounds like if you put it in park while moving.any ideas

thanks again for all the help turk

If it makes the clicking sound when put into park while still moving then that is normal. The clicking is the trans parking gear trying to engage. it does that to prevent braking drive train parts from the sudden stop.
