i have a 92 bronco with the E40D transmission and i was wondering how hard it is to replace the filter, fluid, and seal. where the transmission front mounts to the back of the engine, there is a leak and i was also wondering how hard it is to replace that seal? any help would be appreciated.

not hard, you just gotta find a place to put the 13.5 quarts of fluid. The gasket just scrapes off with a putty knife, but make sure all the old gasket is off. My trick for installing the new gasket is to tie fishing line in the bolt and gasket holes at the corners and pull them out later when the bolts are in so the gasket doesn't move around :)>- .
